Related to the heavy duty truck industry? Then you have to head to ...
2007 Central American Truck Show. The four-day show airs from March 22 to March 24 in Louisville, Kentucky.
The 2007 Mid-America Trucking Show will include an incredible 1,000,000 square foot exhibition space and more than 1,000 companies that show it off making it the largest truck exhibition in the world! This year's presence is expected to exceed 100,000.
This year's semi-truck showcase was marked by the presence of who is from the world of trucks. This provides an opportunity for companies that produce semi trucks and semi truck accessories, to showcase their latest products and highlight the technological advancements achieved by them. Equipment and services of every possible description, representing the most innovative technologies and advanced developments in the industry will be on display!
The history of the Central American Truck Show began in the early 1970s when Paul K. Young formed a private management group. The aim is to present the largest truck show in the United States that will meet the diverse needs of trucking professionals from trucks to chassis trucks and vans to forklifts. The first show was held in 1972. It recorded the presence of 80 exhibitors and 4000 visitors. The popularity of the show continued to increase and in 2006 saw exhibitors exceed the 1000 mark and the presence of 80,291 transport professionals.
The Mid America Trucking Show is rated as a "must attend" event for manufacturers, owner operators and trucking companies, some who dare to go across the country to dump truck hino events that usually start on spring trucks and semi trucks that buy seasons for fleets and individual owners of truck operator operators . As someone who has attended the event for the past three years, I can assure you that this is the "year" this year for the heavy duty truck industry.
This year's event will be highlighted by Great American, one of the leading insurance companies that owns independent operators, who will provide more than a bag of trade show trinkets at this year's Mid-America Trucking Show. One lucky owner owner operator will be chosen randomly to receive the key for Freightliner Classic XL 2002. This Freightliner will be completely 'cheated', according to Tim Clinton, Director of Marketing for the Great American Truck Division.
But still, you will question 'What can I expect from the biggest event in the trucking industry'? Well, I know one place you will find a large number of semi-large truck accessory addicts, truck owners and fans. The highlight of the event for many owner operators is the third annual Big Rig Build Off.
Big Rig Build Off takes place in a parking lot behind the convention center. Even for fans of the most casual truck shows, this is the largest collection of semi-fooled trucks you will see on this side of heaven. Independent truck drivers from all over the country brought their beautiful large rigs out to display at this exhibition. You will see incredible paint work, large chrome trucks and thousands of LED lights that make many people turn when these trucks sail in the heart of America.
So, if you want to know about the latest innovations in semi-trucks and semi-truck accessories, or you are the operator of a semi-truck owner who is seriously considering purchasing a semi-truck in the near future, then you should check out the Mid America Truck Show.
