Rapid Biography of Jacob Bogatin

Jacob Bogatin, was born as Yakov Gershevich Bogatin on August 13, 1947. He attended Saratov elementary and secondary school. Then he continued his education at the Saratov School of Mathematics. In grade 9, Jacob starts a pilot and sky jumping program at Gagarin Aviation School. In 1965 after graduating from high school, the young man enrolled at the Cinematography College in Moscow but was unsuccessful. Then he was accepted at Saratov State University and graduated with a physics degree in 1970.


Soon after that Jacob took a junior research post at Saratov State University and got his PhD in Physics. Since then he has established the largest magnetic laboratory in the Volga region and equipped it with modern scientific machines such as: Jeol and Comeca Micro analyzers, magnetic Spectra analyzers, and 500 thousand magnifications Electronic microscopes. In 1971 he married. From 1973 to 1985 professors published more than 100 articles on permanent magnets. In 1978 the young man discovered a powerful ND-Fe-B permanent magnet that is used in electronics, cars and jets today. In 1977 Jacob accepted a full professorship in physics. Under his leadership many undergraduate students get PhDs and become scientists. Her relations with the Russian government began to deteriorate right after her mother and sister immigrated to Israel. In 1985, the young professor applied for an nissui idonesia immigration visa which was refused twice. In 1987 the man finally gave permission to leave Russia and immigrate to the United States. His family was given 10 days to leave Russia.


In 1987 Bogatin emigrated to the United States and joined the Airspace Company in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. From 1987 to 1988, he became manager of the magnetic department and built a research center with a magnetic laboratory. In 1989 he created the first Metal Rare-Earth Uranium Magnet together with Magnet Aquanides.


During 1988-1993, scientists gave lectures at UPEN for undergraduate programs.


Her children graduated in 1992 and 1998 from UPEN and Haneman University, they married later. His daughter has two children, his son has one child.


In 1993 the scholar organized the Magnetic Company to produce magnets.


In 1998 Jacob began a green field operation for his daughter and son-in-law. In addition, in 2000 he built a 3,500 foot high medical center with a doctor's office, radiology and physical therapy department.


In 2002 he made the decision to publish the first glossy monthly publication for the Russian community in the US and Canada called The Health Magazine. Five years later the magazine became the only successful magazine with a circulation of more than 50,000 copies per month.


In 2002, the scientist was hired by a group of private investors to build a 22,000 square feet diagnostic center. In 2003 the Radiology department with 25 employees opened its doors to give the public access to the latest technology: Siemens 1.5 Tesla MRI short boards, 64 pieces of CT Scan, double heads of nuclear medicine and more.
