Using logical Feng Shui principles to set up your office can ensure good balance and flow in your work space. Feng Shui, the 4,000-year-old Chinese philosophy, is becoming more popular in our modern western world. The literal translation of Feng Shui is 'wind and water'. Things you can see, and things you can't see. If you are clear about your goals and intentions to look for results, this ancient Placement Art is very specific and can help you.

You can achieve balance in your office by identifying and removing obstacles, obstacles, and disruptions from your space. The logic is to make your time productive and functional. The energy balance in your office will also be influenced by the goals vintage convex mirror you have for yourself both in the office and in your personal life.

One of the first things to consider in office space is the placement of tables and furniture. Regardless of whether you have a full room designated as your office, cupboard or cube, you need to find the 'Command Position'. This will be the 'best place' to put your table to see the entire room and door, but not in direct harmony with the door. In your Command Position, you must feel comfortable and relaxed. If you 'feel comfortable' sitting at your table, that is a good indication that you are on the right track. You may not feel like success, but you will enjoy the process of being successful in the future.

Note ** Command position and complexity refers to the Ancient Chinese model. This teaching began in the fourth century BC when people searched for 'the best place' to bury their ancestors.

Logic when you find your Command Position;

• You are automatically safe (your back is protected)

• You have control (determine your line of sight)

• You are safe from interference

Things to think about when setting your work area in 'Command';

• When you sit with your back facing the door or open space, your subconscious might wonder what is happening behind you. Try to be creative with your table settings so you can see the door from your table.

• If you cannot find a Command Position to face the entrance, you might want to consider a 'medicine'. Some people feel more comfortable after putting a small mirror (bag size or convex) separately on their table to face the door, way, if someone's shadow crossing the light behind you, there will be no surprises. (Avoid having a mirror that reflects directly on your actual work. This can unconsciously give you the impression that you have more work to do!)

• If possible, you should avoid sitting with a window behind you. This window is fragile and will not give you a foundation or support to your back. Curtains with bright fabrics / colors or screen dividers should be considered to make you feel safer. The factory floor can also help if your company will allow plant flooring.

• Low bookshelves or credenza behind you can give you security, but high bookshelves, even on walls, can give you a feeling of being overwhelmed. (i.e. too much work to be done, buried) Even the thought of 'What if something falls?' can interfere with your productivity.

• Do not place your desk in the light or on the side of the room where the ceiling is tilted down behind you. Any configuration that makes you feel anxious, Antiqued convex mirror overwhelmed, or restrained must be reconsidered. Try 'sitting at your table' for a few minutes to see if there is a problem.

• Other considerations that can help delay, author obstacles, and inefficiencies include; poor ventilation, inadequate lighting, excessive density (by staff, furniture or chaos) or Electro-Magnetic Frequency (EMF) problems. (see separate article on "EMF and You".)

Be sure to consider all of these factors.
