Decorating around a mirror can be more difficult than decorating a plain wall because everything in the room will be reflected. That is especially true when the entire wall is covered with mirrors. Take advantage of your mirror-covered wall by decorating the mirror and the surrounding space. The mirror can be the focal point of the room, or simply enhance your decor. Use your favorite style, picture, pattern, color or tie a decoration theme with a mirror.

Add colored borders around the mirror. Paint the walls that peek from behind the mirror with bold colors, put decorative prints around the mirror to make it look like a framed mirror or decorative tile glue, sea shells or other objects around the edge of the mirror.

Hang the curtain or fabric panel in front of the mirror or on the side to cover part of the mirror. Installing a decorative curtain rod or sliding system mounted on the Distressed convex mirror ceiling will allow you to show off the mirror or hide it when you don't want to see it. The thin panel will reduce the mirror effect, while still letting the parts shine.

Mount the image rail above the mirror to hang a large picture or artwork. You can hang the frame from the hook on the ceiling if there is no wall space above the mirror.

Decorate the mirror with ice on the window. Use stencils to add designs that are in line with the season or complement your decorations, like snowflakes during winter or hearts for Valentine's Day. Or, add patina to the mirror surface so it is still shiny but vintage convex mirror doesn't produce reflections.

Stick the window decals on the mirror. Use pictures, words or designs that complement the decoration in the room. Use dry erase markers to write quotes, words or draw designs in the mirror if you have good handwriting or artistic skills.

Position large furniture in front of a mirror, such as an open bookshelf or sofa table. Decorate furniture with interesting items that will bounce off mirrors, such as candles, flowers or pottery.
