Guinea Pigs Pet - Cute And Loveable

Pet guinea pigs are known as popular pets for children. Rodent family member, guinea pigs are the funniest of their species. Rodents in general don't have a reputation for being attractive so saying that the funniest guinea pigs doesn't always say much about their appearance. The fact is, they are so much fun that it's hard to believe that they are members of the rat family.


Guinea pigs are also called cavies. The name "cavy" comes from the Latin for species - Cavia porcellus. Porcellus means "little pig" but marmots are not members of the pig family. The theory is that the designation of the pig originated from the appearance of a kavy with a short tail and a large head. As for the guinea part of the name, it is difficult to explain as well. This little creature comes from the Andes.


They were first domesticated in the Andes around 5000 BC. During the European exploration period in America, traders from Spain, Britain and the Netherlands brought cavies back to Europe. This little pig is considered exotic and rich people like to have it as a pet.


Guinea pigs have indeed become extraordinary pets. While their vision is weak, their other senses are very good. Their sense of smell and hearing are acute and help compensate for poor vision. They need all the senses they can gather because they will not be great at escaping danger. Their little feet really move them quickly but they are not great at avoiding obstacles and they are terrible at climbing out of danger.


They are easily shocked so you have to protect them and treat them like beautiful alat uji kandungan babi pets. They are very affectionate and love to be caressed and hugged. They will speak to you in a series of voices. If you pay attention to their chat, you will immediately find out what they are saying to you.


When you first bring your new pet home, let it run freely in your home so that it will feel comfortable in it. At least one hour a day for a little freedom and exercise will make your cavalry happy.


Guinea pigs live up to 7 years and this is one of the disadvantages for pets. They win your heart and losing them after a few years will break your heart. You need to know these things before you decide to bring this easy and fun pet to your home.
